Marc Rand created Community Capital Advisors in 2017 with the sole intent to support community foundations and place-based funders achieve greater local impact through the design, implementation and ongoing administration of community impact loan funds. Since this time, CCA’s offerings and team have expanded.  

Theresa Wilson, Advisor and Project Manager, joined CAA to provide investment due diligence, loan underwriting, portfolio monitoring, reporting and overall program and project management.

In 2021, Bert Feuss joined the CCA Team as Senior Advisors.  From his experience as Senior Vice President of Investments at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Bert expanded CCA’s capabilities across asset classes and impact strategies and added expertise in racial equity-focused investment policies and practices. 

Since the early days of CCA, the network has expanded to include topflight field luminaries, including Kaylene Alverez, Essma Bengabsia, and Steven Godeke.  Collectively, these leaders in impact investing bring expertise in program design, international perspectives, and thought leadership. In addition to the core CCA team, a network of accomplished professionals with specific subject matter expertise serves as strategic advisors to CCA and as collaborators on client engagements.
